Yeast dough 1000 g flour 2 cubes of yeast 500 ml milk |
covering 400 g Lemke Marzipan Simply Pure 4 eggs 2 tsp cinnamon powder 4000 g plums 100 g almond flakes |
Topping Almond cream caramel 200 g almond flakes 200 g sugar 1 packet of vanilla sugar 150 ml cream |
Here's how:
- Crumble the yeast and dissolve it in lukewarm milk while stirring.
- Mix flour, butter, salt, sugar, eggs and yeast milk in a bowl until you have a smooth dough.
- Then shape the dough into a ball and let it rest, covered, in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- In the meantime, mix the marzipan with the eggs and cinnamon until smooth.
- After the resting period, knead the dough on a floured work surface and roll it out onto a greased baking sheet.
- Spread the marzipan mixture onto the dough.
- Place the halved and pitted plums tightly on the dough with the inside facing up.
- Sprinkle with almond flakes and put in the oven.
Preparation of topping
- Lightly toast the almond flakes in a pan over medium heat, add the sugar and vanilla sugar.
- When the sugar melts, remove the pan from the heat and add the cream while stirring.
- Bring everything back to a boil over low heat.
