Almond hummus

Hummus is a true classic, which has been adapted in this recipe with almond butter and almond oil. Hummus is very healthy due to its protein content, its healthy complex carbohydrates, and its high unsaturated fat content, and should therefore be included regularly in your diet.

Ingredients

500 g chickpeas (jar or can)

Chickpea water (Aqua Faber)

Juice of 1 organic lemon

Zest of 1 organic lemon

4 tbsp almond butter

1 tbsp almond oil

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp paprika powder

2 teaspoons salt

Here's how:

Place all ingredients in a tall container or blender.

Then puree the ingredients with a hand blender or in a blender until a nice creamy consistency is achieved.

Tip:

Hummus is much more than just a dip for raw vegetables and crackers; it can also be used as a spread for bread and wraps, or as a base for a delicious pasta sauce.
