1000 g strawberries (washed and peeled)

200 g marzipan raw material (e.g. Lemke Simply Pure )

500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Here's how:

Place the marzipan in the freezer for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, wash and hull the strawberries. Place the strawberries in a saucepan and add the gelling sugar.

Grate the marzipan. Tear it into small pieces, too, but it takes longer. Add the marzipan to the strawberry-sugar mixture and mix well. Place it on the stovetop. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer gently for about 4 minutes.

Puree the jam once, then quickly pour it into clean jars and seal tightly. Turn the jars upside down briefly to ensure the lids are sterile, then let them cool.

The strawberry marzipan jam has a wonderful pink color and, with its delicate marzipan flavor, is an absolute highlight on the breakfast table.
